A series of interiors with window coverings we shot for Hunter Douglas' new brand 'Enlightened Style'.  We shot for a week with DMD on location in and around San Francisco, then a week back in New York doing technical detail shots in my studio.  The shoot was produced by the amazing Anna Kauffman. Another cute organization story - this one for Lucky Magazine.  

Remember that big snowstorm at the end of January that shut down New York?  While most of the city took a snow-day, we built, organized and shot this great looking closet.  Shot it at Shoot Digital with stylist Kendra Smoot.  

Piñata Birthday Party

All kids love these things- but I don't think I'll try it ever again. 
You're flirting w disaster letting 5-yr olds swing a big stick in a crowded room full of salivating children. More than one kid came dangerously close to knocking me in the head with the stick -  I felt the wind coming off that broomstick as it swung past my forehead.  
Thank god for the 7-yr old - she whaled on the dragon and smashed it open, then I put the fairy out of her misery and dumped all of the candy on the mosh pit.  The kids are like wild animals.

Lucky Kids Magazine - Home Design

The very first issue of Lucky Kids magazine is on the newsstand this weekend -- ever since the demise of the much-loved Cookie, there's been a void in the magazines for fashion and style obsessed parents.  My feature story on kid-friendly home design plays up the of-the-moment furniture and toys everyone can't seem to get enough of these days.  I shot it in a series of New York locations with prop stylist Kendra Smoot.  

There's a few fun DIY ideas if you're inspired and are feeling crafty.
